Pizza Leggera was founded in 1979 after Rino Goretti had a brainwave to develop a light, slow rising pizza dough with high digestibility. Nowadays, the core values of Pizza Leggera Calusco d’Adda remain deeply rooted in the high quality tradition of Italian cuisine. The wide selection of pizzas and the inventive topping combinations on the menu are the result of a balanced mix between product seasonality, creativity, intuition and gastronomic culture – qualities that are encapsulated perfectly in our classic “Pizze in Cornice”. This exclusive pizza is made with strictly natural ingredients and literally translates to ‘pizza in a frame’. The dough is soft, has a high crust thanks to the use of the autolysis technique and tastes all kinds of delicious.
The dishes on the menu have all been carefully selected, so guests can choose from the likes of: limousine scottona burgers served in fresh buns from Gregorio Esposito’s bakery; mixed grilled skewers made of thinly sliced bits of meat, cheese and vegetables accompanied by a trio of our homemade sauces (BBQ, guacamole, spicy red); and finally, we also offer a children’s menu that includes kids’ animal-shaped pizzas, pasta with tomato sauce and schnitzel.
